Exhibition

The last few days in Jinan were really fun. We got our project done and I had time to just hang out with my partner. Our project turned out well and looked good hung in the gallery. My partner had spent a lot of time locating and purchasing some bike chain to use to hang our work and it added a nice visual element. The gallery was very nice and it was a lot of fun working on setting it up. The start of the day was frustrating for me because everyones personal work got printed except for mine which I had spent a decent amount of time creating in the evenings on my own time. I am not entirely sure why my work went unprinted. It was not a format problem as I had spent time correctly formatting it, and there was ample time to print it in the morning after realizing it was not printed. It was really frustrating seeing everyones work printed and hung nicely in the gallery, as well as a little embarrassing explaining to my partner why I didn't have anything to show.
It was sad saying goodbye to my partner and leaving the university. We had a really awesome goodbye dinner and boarded the sleeper train to Shanghai. Shanghai so far has been rad and I am really glad it is our last stop on this China tour. We are living like kings in our mansion of a hotel in the center of the city, surrounded by skyscrapers and neon. We spent the day exploring the city and seeing ridiculous architecture, but more on that later. Its late and I am very tired.
